The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has decided to close all educational institutions across the country for four days.

A meeting of the ministry held Monday decided to close the educational institutions beginning Tuesday.

Minister Krishna Gopal Shrestha said that the educational institutions had to be closed due to adverse weather conditions. 

On going pollution can cause Hazardous Health Issue. 


The ongoing pollution status of Nepal can be hazardous for everyone and even more to childrens and old age people. 

Not only for children and old age people, it is recommended to not go outside unnecessarily.

There are hundreds of wildfires spreading right across the Tarai and mid-mountains of Nepal, shrouding the whole country in smoke. The extended nature of the current spate of fires has now lasted five months and continues to get worse.

People are facing problems like stinging of eyes, headaches and breathing difficulties.
