First Death due to Coronavirus has been reported by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP)  at 8:50 pm in Nepal. 

The patient was a 29-year-old female from Sindhupalchowk district who was admitted to T.U teaching hospital, Maharajgunj, and was discharged in 25th Baisakh and has returned her home.

After a few days in the home, she started to show some symptoms like fever and loss of breath, she was taken to the nearby health center. 

As symptoms started to get bit critical she was rushed to Dhulikhel hospital for further check-up. It is reported that she died during the travel. 

She was then thoroughly checked and her swab test for coronavirus (COVID-19) was also carried out where she was fount corona positive and therefore cause of death to be coronavirus disease.

This case has then been the first death case ever reported in Nepal. With this case, it is now 281 total number of coronavirus cases reported in Nepal. 

This is indeed a piece of very disturbing news for all of the Nepali people. With this first death case may all Nepali people realize how dangerous the virus can be and to stay alert and safe inside their home taking care of themselves as well as their loved ones. Take good care of hygiene.
